Modified gimble for Cyber-shot DCS-QX10

I would like to use my Sony lens/camera on my 3DR Solo . It has the standard screw mount and a clip setup for carrying it on a cell phone. (See pictures) . My question today is "How do modify a gimble for steadier shots"?

not with the stock gimbal, it was designed only for the gopro.
