Manual for IRIS+ controller

Can someone point me to a link for a manual to explain the use of the IRIS+ transmitter/controller?

I would try Google if you haven't already. Maybe somebody else wile chime in with something better.

Tried google and found for generic controller but I imagine the firmware for Iris+ is customized.

Have you tried diydrones.com or ardupilot.com? I just thought of them- they are into the really technical drone stuff!
