Is multi cable cam out or what?

Hi Soloing,

Your CPU is more than enough.

I am sure ur TV is 4:4:4 if I read a similar UK model test and assume its the same as your US spec. TV region model numbers are weird bunch with different model numbers for different countries for same family but spec maybe different. Usually the highest spec goes to USA and Europe.

The Samsung has the motion smoothing, and since you use its internal media player encoder for playback, perhaps that is why it is smooth. Could be software wise smoothed out, could be natural smooth. Built-in media encoder in some TV are better than others, this is the key behind playing back media using memory card direct to TV. Some older TVs media encoder wont be able to play higher than 30mbps video data rate, which even a GoPro 1080p 60fps Hero4 Black is at approx 35 mbps and the 4K at approx 50-60mbps. Most internally can't playback unique frame rate like 48/80/90/120/240 fps

I am sure your TV media encoder is at least this capable, if not better.
Supported File Types for the 2015 4K SUHD TV
..........except for unique frame rate.

780Ti has 1 Display Port, that you need for 4K, the HMDI is not 2.0 which is the only HDMI today being 4K capable. So I am sure you are using the DisplayPort

The video player itself for PC for GoPro footage, best you choose MPC
Home · MPC-HC , this is better than VLC when it comes to unique frame rates or 4K from a GoPro or GoPro's Protune.

thanks...

I am pretty sure as well that it is not the CPU and that the TV is 4:4:4.
The TV has definitely something that makes the footage look smoother, I agree.
I see now what you meant. YES, I used the DisplayPort 1.2 when I hooked up the 4k screen.
I use MPC. MAybe better than VLC!

Thanks for the input!
