If I update my iPhone to the new update will I be able to still connect to solo app does anyone know ???

Short answer: Yes.

More complete answer: I just updated my iPad Mini 6 to iOS version 13.4.1, and it runs the 3DR Solo app exactly the same way as the previous few iOS versions (bugs and all). Therefore I assume that your iPhone will likewise run the 3DR Solo app the same way after updating its firmware.
