I have a new iPad mini 2 running the latest IOS and cannot get a video feed using Solex. Any word if this will ever get fixed?

Are you sure you mean Solex, because Solex is only available on the Android OS?

Whatever the version is for the iPad.

Your are then referring to the core Solo app. Have s look at this thread. There may be something there for you to try.
