I was shopping at Walmart to day and they had a clearance sale on gopro products, I had seen a hero just a regular gopro hero. my question is will it work on the solo drone without any problems? I know its not the best but if it works I got a great deal until a hero 4 finds me. thanks

Not really. You can not get a live feed or control it via the solo app. However you could just stick it on the static mount and hit record before take off.
