GoPro Hero4 Black Questions

Hello,

I was wondering if I could pick your guys brains a bit.

Question number 1
I just purchased the Polar Pro 3 filter pack.
I have been doing some searching online about balancing the camera in the gimbal with the filter on it.
Is that necessary?

Question number 2.
What are the best settings on GoPro to use with the filters?

Question number 3
After a GoPro firmware update, the GoPro will now no longer turn on when the Solo is powered up.
Has anyone else run into that and is there a way to set it back to the way it was?

1 Some say you don't need to balance other say to, I flew polars both ways and found the gimbal performed better when balanced. I used the IMP concepts balance rig, works great.
2 don't adjust your settings, use the same settings but use the filter appropriate to your conditions. (brighter it is higher nd)
2 you can revert back to the old firmware, that is the only way around the camera not coming on. If you need manual exposure don't downgrade just push the button, if you don't need manual exposure revert to the old firmware. there is a post on here how to do it
