To minimize the effect of the stiff HDMI cable you have to take a chance. Take the cable off your drone. Very carefully use a razer and put a shallow cut just below the male plugs. Work slow around the plug and as soon as you complete the circuit made a small cut down away from the plug, maybe an 1/8 inch then you should be able to get a small needle nose plyier to attach to the loose end. A firm steady pull should strip the outer stiff convert off each end. Leave the big center piece alone. When your done the cable will be much more pliable and will produce much less vibration.
