Gopro don't recording or take photos in app

Hello, i have a gopro hero 3 black, when i connect it on app, appears a image, but i can't take photos or recording, someone can help me?

Is it a 3 Black, or a 3+ Black? The 3 Black is not guaranteed to work, only the 3+ and 4. Also, did you try taking pictures by pressing in on the elevation paddle on the left front of the controller?
