Gimbal turns own it own

I installed the solo gimbal to the 3dr solo. When I turn on the 3drsolo the gimbal starts turnin from left to right on its own. Please advise newbie

It moving quickly left to right.

Used gimbal. It rotates back and forth uncontrollably.

Bad gimbal, likely not repairable... Search the forum to learn more of other's efforts to resolve.

Also make sure it has the camera in it before you power up.
