Gimbal moving left and right

I've had solo almost a year no problems, until now. Upon lift everything connects quickly I load mission to survey. Once to set flight height the gimbal shakes left and right continuously when flying forwards, when flying backwards no wobble. I have removed gimbal to check for rubbers out, lose screws/ cracks and everything checks out. Any suggestions would be great!

Hi Joe it sounds like a dirty wiper (it's the thing that tells the gimbal were the motor is) like a rheostat. With the price so low on a gimbal it would be cheaper then replacing the motor.

Ha That's a good way to put it! Looks like I'll deal with it for right now and swap it later.

If it is not to old put in a service request with 3DR. Can't hurt!! They have a 1 year warranty.

Just wanted to update, turns out the set screw holding the vertical shaft to the motor was loose. Tightened it and no more slop.
