Gimbal, gopro hero 4 silver, and solo app

I just acquired a gimbal and everything is installed properly but I'm not able to take pictures or video on the gopro hero 4 silver while its mounted in the gimbal I have live fpv but that's all.

Make sure you define the model in your app. I think I remember fumbling over this once or twice as I switched between Hero 3 and Hero 4.

Figured it out the go pro firmware had to be downgraded to 3.0

It does work fine with firmware v5, you just need to manually start the camera. Not sure sure if the downgrade is related to the resolution

Release Date: 10/21/2016 (latest) works fine with the gimbal and solo app. If you can't control the camera make sure its seated properly in the mount and that your gopro settings are good. ie, WiFi off, and start with Video 1080/60. Make sure you have selected the correct camera type in the Solo app.
