Ford hopes to connect drones with their F-150 models

"The plan is for this software to get the drones to connect with the vehicles using the company’s AppLink and Open XC interfaces. This would allow first responders from the United Nations to drive trucks as far as they can into disaster zones and position drones to investigate what would normally be unreachable areas. The drones could collect data on locations of potential survivors and take video, among many other things.

So with the help of DJI and Ford, and possibly yours, the next earthquake, hurricane, or natural disaster could be responded to better than ever before."
