Flight Solo in EU (Italy)

Hello,
i want to buy a solo this weekend from the 3dr store becouse of the backpack offer.
I have an iris+ since 1.5year, with gimbal gopro and downlink video feed.
I think now is the time to upgrade to a solo. What guys do you think? i'm now an occasional user (i have very short free time) due to work. Did you switch from iris+ to solo?

I'm living in Italy now and i've hear that the GPS on solo is not that good as the old one in the iris+ outside USA

Some advise from who fly a Solo in Europe/Italy?
PS: for the warranty what it will be? I can send it to repair outside USA?

Flying in France; no problem at all with the GPS.
Depending of situation I can catch 10 or 11 satellite very quickly.

Flying sometimes in Spain... no problems with GPS either.

Flying in Romania with no GPS issue. All is OK.
I have between 8-9 to 12 sats.

It is better to attach with a GPS Tracking device for your first flight so that you will be able to locate your drones. For example the Trackimo tracking device, it will automatically alerting when sensing distress signals.
