Fixed wing pilot new to drones

Hi all,
I'm a fixed wing commercial pilot who worked for a few years as a survey pilot in the US. I am making the plunge this week purchasing a 3DR Solo for 400 bucks. I will inevitably be asking more than a few questions!
I was looking for a deal to get my feet wet, and think I found it. Wish me luck!
