I decided to go and so far it seems targeted at the marketing aspect more than the flying. That's ok with me. I know how to fly the drone and take pictures and video but still had questions about how to take it beyond taking some nice video on the weekends. They cleared up some questions I had about some of the FAA stuff as well. They do seem to favor the DJI stuff for entry level things but I really don't expect to see anyone endorsing Solo as a good investment anymore. I did find it interesting that in a room with 100 or so other drone enthusiasts I heard about two mentions of Karma. Everyone that already flies was talking about Mavic though. If nothing else it got me two days off from work to hang around with other people who enjoy drones and I am finding it interesting.
