Connection issues

Hey all! I just received my new solo today and going through the set up phase and have hit issues, immediately.
I can't get the controller or the drone to connect to the app for the "preflight update" and i've tried this on iOS as well as android...nothing will connect.
The lights currently active on the solo are blue at the front and red at the back, which isn't listed on the website or the instructions, so what does this mean?

Any help would be gratefully received.

i think you need to push the button to pair both controller and aircraft

there is a small hole under solo body just push once, just try it
