Black & Silver Props

So after about 50 sorties I have logged three landing flips, all my fault, all coming in too hot and dropping down before I allow my lateral motion to stabilize before touching down and each time snapping a silver dot prop. When is someone gonna get smart and offer black and silver dot props sold separately? Better yet, a prop exchange swapping one color dot for the other.

APC props you can buy individually. Most multi rotor props are sold as pairs though. And since your awesome at landing, you should probably buy them in multiples anyways! just saying....

Maybe try landing on the opposite side so you can use the extra black ones...........Just kidding, Michael. Trying to lighten things up a bit...

I'm conducting a poll on one of my FB groups. I'll post results when I accumulate some data. So far most break equal amounts Beyond that the broken silver props are about 2-1 of the black ones.

I really think it was pure coincidence the silver tips were the ones that broke. It is a 50/50 chance on which one breaks on that type of landing.

I think it would be smarter for you to practice landing safely.

Here you go! This is by no means scientific but did expose a few interesting revelations. Majority say they break equal amounts of black and silver props which is what I expected. That said, of those that have an odd outcome the overwhelming majority broke more silver than black props. (Solomon Drone is my FB nom de plume)

I have crashed twice - both noob mistakes in my first 24 hours with Solo. Anyway, In both cases all 4 props were destroyed.

I have had one crash, my fault, lucky, no prop broken, just a few scatches.
