Im guessing hes talking about the labor day sale where they had the solo on sale bundle with the gimbal for free when you buy it.

Sale is over but solo, gimbal, and a spare bat were $499 a few weekends ago. It would appear that most of them (or parts of the package) are on Ebay dirt cheap now.
