airplane / flight traveling with Solo batteries

I'm going to go on a trip to Seattle with my Solo drone as well as multiple batteries. Are there any limits with how to transport the batteries on the airplane? Should I have them carry-on? Checked in? I haven't kept up with regulations. My nightmare would be for them to be in my checked-in bags and then to have TSA remove them (since I would be out a lot of money and would have to get new batteries).

I thought I'd be safe because the Solo batteries weren't lithium but someone told me they are lithium.

I would check with the airline you are flying, but FAA regs require them to be carried on.

I believe you can have one in checked luggage as long as it is installed in Solo.

And yes, they are lipo batteries.
