This might be interesting in the right context. Perhaps illumination from other sources on the ground. Like backlight. It's notable how the proximity of the aircraft light{s} also effect brightness. Now, If we could only get a very targeted point of interest dialed in to orbit.

Might be useful for search & rescue or law enforcement. Everybody else is grounded at night.

I really don't see drones in law enforcement any time soon.

I've seen much brighter drone lights on YouTube. Guys using 100W LED's that light the ground up like daytime.
