This has probably been posted already, but I've been looking for options to mount additional cameras/accessories for various tasks. I'll likely use the GoPro for video needs, but was looking for a way to attach a better camera for stills. I've sorta given up the notion that 3DR might release the beefier gimbal and sony camera for individual sale, but this little plate may provide some cheap options.
