I have everything connected to a 3DR Solo with gimbal but cannot get the GoPro Hero4 Black to record. I can see what it is looking at, the gimbal is tilting with the controller, the drone is flying, but the message on the controller is "Recording Inactive?" What am I doing wrong?

I'm having a blast with my Solo. Brought it on family vacation to get a feel for al the bells and whistles. Hero 4 Black, protune, smart shots etc and reading through the manual and devouring the videos and great advice here. This is Fly mode, no smart shots. Gotta love the 4K!
