I'll do some more tests at 13k and 12k to see how Solo will do and report back.

Thanks chief...I was hoping that wasn't going to be the case. Well I'll still have my Solo for most all other operations..but I guess I'll be looking into a mavic for some shots on top of the 14ers plus added benefit of weight and compactness. Just sucks I've done 5 so far with no drone shots.

Hi I researched before I took my solo up to the tippy top of a 14er that I hiked so happened to be the highest peak in Colorado 14,433ft. The highest I read about solo going was around 11k with 11" props from apc and there was someone who was going to test at 12k but never wrote his experience...

Thing is I don't mess with tower, I don't know what MP is but on solex I flew in a warehouse so I used the preset fly manual in the flight profiles but once I was done I thought I switched it back or "reset" apparently not though so I won't be messing with anything like that anymore.

Thank you again, this setting was at 1 which is LAND so I switched it to 2.

I have no idea what you guys are talking about, the tower app is wayyyy out of my league to understand I don't mess with it just have it. BUT P2P you are the man!! It was set to 3 for just straight land. So I changed the value to 1 which is RTL. Thank you so much for your help!!

Perhaps I messed with them but I haven't messed with it after I reinstalled both apps, plus the first time this happen I was using Solo app not Solex. Sooooo what would cause complete loss of signal and gps?
