Kevin, Thank you for the info. Could you please specify what bag are you using? Seems like the biggest issue would be finding a bag that fits the Solo...if you know a proven path, i dont want to reinvent the wheel.

Dodge P, does everything fit in this bag? You mentioned you have to figure out how to hide the bird...not sure if she fit in here as well...

Could you please post a pic of your custom backpack? I am curious to see what you made because ideally I would like to have a backpack as well.

Has anyone boarded an airplane with their Solo yet? Did you carry it on? or did you check it under the plane? What case did you use? Thanks!

How wide is the Solo? I am looking at the 1510 Pelican case and am wondering if it will fit.... Inside dimensions 19.75 x 11 x 7.6...

Thanks for the info! I completed the set up but the lights are still blue and red. Does this signify that updating is still required or is this the norm for pre flight? PS- I also owe it to you that I have one of these right now...would still have been waiting for BH :D

How does one successfully complete the level calibration? When I hit calibrate..its states that it is calibrating but never completes or gives a new screen; the SOLO doesn't do anything either. The LED lights remain blue and red... Does this have to be done away from metal objects and concrete...

I ordered the solo and the gimbal on 5/28 (sperate orders) and am leaving for Costa Rica on July 10th!! What are the chances I board the plane with a gimbal....? :/ The epic surf footage is at risk!! Any work arounds?? Will the stores be carrying gimbal inventory?
