Anyone have a shell they wan't to get rid of? I could really use a shell. I kinda smashed mine to bits trying to fly Acro.. Who would have figured that you shouldn't try and make a Solo into a race drone.:rolleyes::confused:

How can you say that, when anyone can get a refurb direct from 3DR for $150 or $200 with a gimbal... $100 for a GPH4B It's open season on these things. They are literally a dime a dozen at the moment.

damn. A little bummed I missed this one. That would have been a perfect practice drone for my Search and Rescue team.

It doesn't matter now anyway. I smashed it to little tiny bits the other day, so now it's just another project. Someday I'll put it in another frame and let it rip!

Dude! That's sick... I want to do that. Can you help me do that? I want to be able to have a ground station and send that little Solo out deep! I am talented, but would definitely need a little bit of direction to get this accomplished.

I have removed the max attitude parameter. I was flying at 11,500 2 days ago in FLY mode and I had no problems at all. Flew 6 batteries, and chased a bunch of mountain bikers down the trail without any power issues whatsoever. I even flew up to 11,900 to get a wide shot of our position.

fly the stupid simulator.. Make it as tough as you can. It is silly and extremely limited. However you can do it at any time, and it does train the muscle memory in our thumbs.
