Well I’m gonna go on a fishing trip here soon and was gonna take my drone to record some video ,I searched for some info but all I found was old threads ,was looking for some tips and if you’ve launched from a boat maybe share how you did it and your experience thanks kindly

Hi just wanted to double check so i don't mess up my green cube install ,measure twice cut once philosophy, is arducopter 3.4.5 firmware.zip all i need to download and install for the green cube install, p.s i do have open solo all ready installed ,thanks for your answers

As far as a gps tracking device,I believe you can use a Marco Polo rc gps tracking device in case you lose your drone,but I’ve heard that you can track it with the solex app if you crash somewhere and can’t find it

For my solo I have some lights ,but for me the only thing that’s realistic is the stabilized gimble by 3dr and GoPro 4 ,it works great for video,and that’s all I have ,their are other cameras you can get but they are more expensive and takes a lot of work and skills to get working

You can still open a claim with eBay and they will probably refund you threw eBay protection it’s worth a try

Thanks ,I do have an attachment it’s an extension arm to hold a GoPro,and it’s for a different POV

They make one that has no handle,it’s wearable but cost in the 300 range ,so for the price it’s out of experimental range to purchase and just fail

I would say it’s worth it for the 20 buckaroos ,it seems that I have more bars when flying,I usually fly within 1000 ‘ /1500 ‘ ,I personally like to keep my bird in sight just in case
