Two solos both with rev A and home made plastic shields. Been flying since Jan '17 and no problems so far.

My H4Bs with v5.00 in 1080 Linear mode do not switch away from Linear unless you manually change the video mode in the Solo app to say Medium. Cycling between Video and Photo makes the Solo app show Medium video mode but it still is in Linear.

I don't think the 3DR backpack is strong enough to withstand check-in luggage abuse. I've always carried mine as a carry-on with no TSA issues. You would want something like a Pelican hard case for check-in.

Seems like the various BB 3DR offers are on and off. As of 1:30am HST, the $199.99 BB refurb is still available.
