I though you were kidding, but when I tried it the call went directly to messiging with no effect to the phone. I did notice while the phone was in the airplane mode and wifi on to sololink I was not able to get the goggle map. Thanks so much for the info. Larry

I like to use the Solo app on my iPhone , but what happens to Solo in flight when I receive a call. I have turned on " Do not disturb" on the phone but the call screen still displays. I have made several filghts using the iPhone , but to date I have not received a call during a flight.

I show 2 saved cablecams that I can share but but when I go to the cablecam section on smartshots and select cablecam I do not see any recorded cablecams!!!

I got an update on my solo the Solo app about a week and a half ago the update was adding either the Japanese or Chinese language

Two things I am having trouble with planning a survey. 1 How is a start point set. 2 I set the camera to GoPro 4 black and save the survey mission. When I load the mission back into Solex and edit or view the mission the camera is always reset to Canon a2300.

The update from 3dr is in more detail than the manual!

I went through the factory reset twice before I got mine to find solo. Their is a reset proceder to follow from 3dr. I found the address on this forum for the 3dr reset procedure.

When I select (HDR photo) from the shots menu, do I need the GoPro to be set to still or can it be in video?

After a lot of heard scratching and 2 factory reboots all is working. I have been using the solex app on my android tablet with good results. I like the feature on the solex app that lets you keep tack of the number of flights and the total flight time. it also can keep battery usage time.

You are right Solex will not run on iphone

If you are using a GoPro 3+ or 4 and turn on" record to camera roll "in the camera settings. You will need to open the camera settings (three small lines ) under the camera shutter button to find the on/ off setting.

After much trying with " waiting for solo" problem the problem has been fixed!!! With two factory reset procedures. Question what is the proper order for turning on and off the solo and controller.
