    Solo Drone in 15-20 Knot Wind

    I'll admit that the Solo is solid even it strong winds but anything over 12mph's I don't even take it up anymore as I'm to worried about it smashing into the ground and breaking into little tiny pieces.

    This feature is not there yet. I'm wondering if this is going to be possible through the HeroBus. I'm trying to think of a current GoPro accessories that allows you to power on the GoPro without physically pressing the power button.

    What tablet or phone are you using with the Solo App? Also do you get the same distortion from the HDMI on the controller to say a monitor?

    They must be having some issues with that but hopefully the figure out how to send the command from the gimbal to the GoPro.

    Yes it was on and whats funny I could hit the record button and the GoPro would flash. Good to go now though.

    Silly me, when the update was done I powered the Solo off but it did not power off the GoPro and when I powered the Solo back on I assumed it powered the GoPro back on. Nope, its just supplying power. Good news is I'm getting video after a few power ups on the GoPro.

    Just updated the firrmware. Good news is that when you power on the Solo it powers on the GoPro. Bads news is I no longer have video out on the screen (Android/IOS). So far recycling and reseating the GoPro has not helped.Hero 4 Silver.

    It appears so. I used the email address I used for registering the Solo months ago and it worked.

    The next firmware update

    I can't wait to get home as I want to see what they mean by the revamp of the FPV video. My Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 has been suffering since a last few updates.
