Who has NOT crashed Solo despite using it many times?

At least 75 flights to date, I've never crashed, Learn to spot dodgy behavior, land and just have the patience to power-cycle everything. I had a spat of a bad Gimbal, but our Solo has always flown perfectly. I've become confident enough to start working in tight spaces, and I trust the...

Solo Bricked. Getting really sick of 3DR support's delays.

I'm doing just that. On my fourth try, last time I made it to changing my password, but that crashed hard. Almost there....

Solo Bricked. Getting really sick of 3DR support's delays.

After the second request to film video from a camera that I reported as broken twice, I politely asked my tech supporter to read my emails. This same absurd game of I say X is broken and the tech supporter says use X to do Y has happened four additional times. So, I'm at Best Buy and Holy-Moly...

Companies that treat their customers like this don't last very long. And in this, I'm glad I did not use chat support. All I need to do now is post six weeks worth of the back and forth email exchanges with 3DR to prove fraud to my credit card company.

Solo Bricked. Getting really sick of 3DR support's delays.

I had the Solo delivered with the gimbal installed. On the replacement, I re-installed the gimbal with particular care to make sure the HDMI and data cables remained on separate paths to the camera. Both cables are properly seated. I have re-checked my work twice. This is not my job. I...

Solo Bricked. Getting really sick of 3DR support's delays.

By "bricked", my controller was not completing updates, but would crash mid-update. I tried to do a factory reset, but the controller still crashed on the first update, and the drone would not pair to the controller. I received the replacement quadcopter and controller yesterday, and the...

That's great advice, if I had only known to do this. Once I get my replacement, can I hit you up for further advice on the MAPIR infrared?

I thought my problem was a broken controller and gimbal, and suggested simply returning the controller and gimbal, as the solo itself flies perfectly. I was reminded that the quad and controller are tested as a linked pair. As for Chat, that's where I started.

12 days later, I'm finally sending my Solo back to the factory. Hooray. Curiously, they only want the Solo and the controller.

Over the past month I've spent about 2 hours via three sessions.

Thanks twitchyzero. The Solo flies like a dream. Despite the glitches, I've never flown anything as agile and intuitively responsive in years.

Send my apologies to Pyrate, I thought I was responding to you. I'm not a troll, I'm just a pissed off researcher. I do not seek commiseration, I seek to force 3D Robotics to honor their agreements through the time honored tradition of public shaming. And yes, students. Students at one of...

Solo Bricked. Getting really sick of 3DR support's delays.

Please explain. Is this forum only the good news club? I reported a problem, but I did not think to ask for help, because that is what tech support is for. And then sneering condescension creates sneering condescension. I'm glad things are working for you, but they are not for me, so...

Solo Bricked. Getting really sick of 3DR support's delays.

Wow. That's rather twisted logic. I'd love to use my warranty, but I cannot get 3dr support to even read through an email to figure out what is going wrong. Honestly, you see a hundred others with the same issues and you do not see a problem here? News flash: When people report problems...
