I have to turn my drone on and once it is ready to fly I have to turn the go pro off and on and close and reopen the video feed 'not the app' I have the hero 3 black and the only way I can record is just by pressing the button on the go pro before flight

I recently crashed my drone very badly..... Luckily everything works The propellers are broken down to the center part, but the middle part that connects them got stripped from the actual propeller while we were trying to pry the whole thing off. I am wondering if anyone has any suggestions
