Ok, does Solex Mission require a connection with the controller if it has GPS lock? In other words if I send it on a mission where I know due to an object in the way I am likely to lose controller contact, can I set the Solo to follow the mission markers and then just set the final markers back...

Ok, I may be an idiot, I get that. But while I read all kinds of things on how to fly in manual and sport mode using Solex I see nothing about how to actually access those modes? Is it just turning on advanced modes and there will be a toggle? Where is the toggle?

That is a pretty decent scale. I think visibility matters a lot as well. If there is a blocked sightline to areas a helicopter or small plane may suddenly "appear" out of as compared to a clear 360 horizon view where you could see any flight coming from a long way off

I noticed that, most of them that I looked up on Google Maps it's just a field you don't even see a building or even anything that can be used as a Runway or pad anymore
