It resets the pixhawk, Hold it down and restart continue to hold down until you hear the startup tone, it will change to a different tune as it boots
This ^Did you try UDP in mission planner?
Only other thing I can think of is you cracked a board or solder connection somewhere
It resets the pixhawk, Hold it down and restart continue to hold down until you hear the startup tone, it will change to a different tune as it bootsThere was a post from someone previously who mentioned 2 buttons for reset. Not many were aware. If I can locate the post I'll share. It's either here or in the FB group.

Can't factory reset solo?
Kinakailangan ang Pagtiyak sa Seguridad
Steps to fix:
(These are the total steps I did, may not have to replace sd images if can do factory reset and get proper wifi communications. I'm working in Fedora 25 Linux)
- Grab new fresh images from David Amuthesan OneDrive
- Extract controller image
- Burn images to fresh <8Gb micro-SDcards (expect to take a while)
$ fdisk -l [to find correct SD card location]
$ dd if=/location/of/the/file of=/dev/sdb [/dev/sdb on my machine, check]- Factory reset controller
- Remove gimbal
- Get small right-angle micro-usb cord
- Plug into Pixhawk usb port [this by-passes the Solo card and stopped the warning scream, but more importantly allowed a complete boot]
Look for black cube through gimbal opening in chassis
usb port on the side- Power up the Pixhawk with usb cable
- Power up Solo after Pixhawk fully boots
- Factory reset on drone with tooth-pick
- Tear down your controller and drone (if factory resets don't take or don't get wifi communications)
Be super careful of moving main board too much and breaking accessory bay ribbon cable. Mine was entirely unsupported with goo and broke just looking at it. Because I don't need to run accessories in bay, no worries
- Replace SD cards with new images
Be careful to not force click sd card holder
Scrape off factory glue
Hot glue in new card
- Do factory resets (continue with powering Pixhawk on its own before Solo)
- Pair units
- Using Tower or Mission Planner, reset SYSID_SW_MREV to 0, mine was 120
$ sudo dnf install mono-devel
$ git clone MissionPlanner
set user rwx permissions for MP, otherwise will crash on start
$ mono MissionPlanner.exe- Reboot everything w/o powering usb port on Pixhawk
- Calibrate sensors
- Reboot
- Test w/o props
- Go Fly!!!???!!!
