No internet access iOS

I am brand new to 3dr, doing a factory reset and trying to connect/update 3dr app to iOS 13.5.1 and get connecting via WiFi but no internet.
please advise.

When you connect to the solo Wifi you do not have access to the internet. Don’t need it. Just proceed with your connection.

Thanks for the response I appreciate it. How do I update the firmware? When I open the 3dr app it says update required.

Forget the 3DR app. Get Side Pilot for IOS or Solex if you want to use an android tablet.
