Issue with Android App wont take photos since latest update.

Im having an Issue taking photos and video since the latest android app update. I can take a couple of photos and then it does nothing when i press the button, on the screen or with the remote. Does anyone have any ideas on this one?? Im using gopro hero3+ black and a galaxy note 4.
It also seems that the Gopro sometimes does not switch off with the solo.

I have had a few issues with my GoPro recently. I wasn't getting any streaming video and could not change the settings on the camera. I took the GoPro out of the gimbal and pulled the battery from it to reset the camera. Once I got it back into the gimbal I still had no video but was able to go into the camera settings from the Solo app. The were all totally out of wack but was able to put everything back to my preferences. Once I got the settings straightened out, I got video back on the Solo app...strange.
