Anyone know if there is a way to make solo more compact? I have seen P3 to mavic conversion... Anyone know the best way to transport? The backpack looks big.

Other than removing the props and legs, Solo won't get any smaller without changing airframes.
If you are hiking, you might want to consider just strapping Solo to the outside of your backpack.

Ok thank you. Is there a foldable solo airframe?

Is there one of those that even exists? I would be willing to do that for portability. Also sounds like a fun weekend project[emoji3]

There are a couple folks that swapped Solos smarts to a larger airframe, but can't remember if there were any successful transplants to a smaller or foldable airframe. You can be sure that making it foldable will add weight and could compromise flying qualities.
The empty Solo shell is quite light and durable. You would be very hard pressed to improve on it without significant investment or exotic materials.
