I am a rookie pilot and new to videography. This was about my 5th time up with my Solo with no gimbal and a GoPro Hero4 Black. This was recorded and edited on my phone. Maybe this weekend I will get the file off the GoPro and try to edit it on my PC. It was a little windy, about 15 MPH, and like I said I am pretty new to all of this. I was not using any of the smart shot features.

I have been reading a lot of the threads. Did you leave the stock HDMI cable in yours and just route it to where it does not interfere with the gimbal or replace it with the cable that is move flexible?

Welcome to the forum, Mj. If you shoot that same sunset with a gimbal, you will be happily surprised at how much will be smoothed out. I am using the stock HDMI cable, and removed the battery tray after I installed the gimbal to be sure there was no interference with the gimbal, Good luck, and safe flying.

I'm also using the stock HDMI cable- no problems!
Shoot some video with the gimbal before you make any decisions about the cable- it may work just fine.
