Controller and App have different units of measure

My controller and app have different units of measures. How can I sync them? When I change the unit of measure in the app it doesn’t change the controller. Anybody have this issue?

3DR is suppose to be working on a fix for this problem.

It a flaw that everyone experiences. Supposedly to be fixed in some future update.
