The one thing that needs to happen when the gimbal finally arrives is they need to add mute functionality to the GP mic if it doesn't already exist.

If GoPro Doesn't have that mute fucntion, Then gimbal would not be able to do it.
Googled it, didn't find anything definitive on muting mic?
Most do it in post.

Yeah, for most editing software it's a simple check box to mute recorded sound. But it actually came in handy to have the sound for me a couple years ago. I was flying a Hex when it lost a motor. When I played back the recorded video, I could hear the ESC start squealing and get louder and louder.

Deleting the audio track one of the first things I do once I import a video (from Solo) into Premiere. It's an extra step that I would love to be able to skip and handle pre-flight.
