Would you suggest the tablet version even if you use your phone as a 'just in case' for future?

I bought one as well. Pretty much like new. You can tell someone at least took off the plastic wrap stickers and little paper bits on the motor but everything looked shiny and works great. Have used about 3 times so far.

I have noticed a number of ebay listings look low but then have outrageous shipping. I think it is just a way for them to pay less fees and still get the same price. Saw a lot of 3 solos for 99 and was excited then saw the $80 shipping.

Need to test to verify but from observations this weekend with mine for the first time. When using hero4 silver if the touch screen is active then the hdmi output was not. Only when my 1min timeout for touchscreen happened did the hdmi feed kick in. It could be it only outputs to one...

Well it arrived earlier and confirmed with 3dr they still warrenty best buy refurbs so plan to take it out tonight or this weekend at the latest.. Even got the phone number for local tower at airport (within 5 mi). Just need to run through updates and pairing. If all goes well then will order...

Well got my gopro from them refub so that was only 200 then got a bestbuy refurb drone fro 189. Just checked with 3dr and their warranty covers the refurbs as well. Just need to get gimbal and spare battery.

Yeah.. was kinda thinking that but was wondering as time goes if I will be able to source a gopro4 easily.. But I guess if I get a year flying out of it got my money's worth.

My only concern with the bestbuy refurb is would it be covered under the 3dr warranty?

So I was looking at getting a solo but after talking with their customer service even if the solo drops from the sky due to drone error they stated they will not cover the gopro. Trying to decide if I really want to risk my gopro or do I just say who cares and go for it hoping nothing happens?
