I installed the update, everything seems to have worked correctly with the install. I only had to reset the "B" button. I even got a 8 sat lock sitting on my desk. I even started the motors and gave it power to take off (without props). I'll test fly it in the morning.

No, just point PD to the files and use them. I at one time used GPS (GoPro Studio) to convert them and trim them down, but that caused more problem than it was worth. So now I just use PD to do everything, like others have said its a little bit of a learning curve but its worth it.

They just released PowerDirector 14. For general video editing nothing over the top, Ultimate is great.

One program that I use to edit videos is "CyberLink PowerDirector 13 64bit" Just tossing another program in to the mix of the standard programs.
