Well.... surely it has to be true, I mean, it's not like you can just log onto youtube and watch people's drone footage without having to hack their drones................ oh wait..... never mind....

The US military stopped using their DJI stuff, at least temporarily, for the same reason. Don't know if they resolved their issues yet.

I have a little Zerotech Dobby bought a bit before I heard of the Solo. The company, also Chinese, screwed-up its software with so much intrusion that I stopped using it also.
For starters, they only allow their app to work on cellphones and want access to everything on it.
