I could have gotten within 500 yards, my normal flying field, but I thought it would be so DJl of me to do that...

I counted 4 news helos and then a city or county helo flying low and in near the fire. Just didn't want to be that guy....

Ya Steve, that's what I was suggesting.

Give me a break. I'd have flown 1/2 the distance, shot 6 minutes of fire, flew home, and tried to sell the footage to the local station or put it on my YouTube or Facebook Channel
