Using a car 120v inverter

Heya guys well im leaving this weekend for vacation and i was wondering if i use a
300W Car DC 12V to AC 120V to charge the solo battery i can damage the battery ?
charging this way Vs 120 home power Outlets

No Problem. I have used the inverter that is built into my truck. Same charge time.
