I recently watched a Pixhawk based multirotor system flying on a fully autonomous flight profile come to a stop and hover mid-flight with it lost it's GPS lock. Is there a way to have it continue to it's waypoint by having it's position updated via INS when GPS lock is lost? Some car GPS units have this capability when in a heavily crowded city environment with close in and tall buildings that obstruct the GPS's view.
