Honestly the ball is in Sony's court now, they could make a gimbal for their camera and interface with the Solo. Besides, Sony's got tons of money look at their recent VTOL craft.

Counter rotating main propellers on a rotating boom....look closely and you will see it. Same way a counter rotating helicopter works

That explains yaw, but not pitch or roll. I take that back - if the rotating boom goes forward or backward, then you can get roll. Of course, that would mean that you can't roll with out at least some forward or backward motion AND some yaw. Still no pitch explanation, though.
