I use cheap carbon props exclusively. I actually don't think they are quite as efficient as good nylon props but because they do "slice" it means that if you get a little too close to that branch, you don't crash. They last a LOT longer than nylon props. The quality does vary and I can't comment on the ones you posted because I use T Style props but they are cheap enough to give a set a try.
I used carbon fiber props on my X380 and interchanged them with the DJI plastic props and there was a noticeable difference in throttle speed.
I do believe they are quieter and as far as being tough, they are even in crashes. I'll warn you, do not be near them on takeoff or landing!
One time while flying the X380 in 12 mph wind upon landing, a gust of wind caught the quad and forced it into a wooden storage shed.
The props or the quad weren't damaged but there was a very noticeable splintered nick in the shed's siding. These props are dangerous
and durable so they can cut you up if you get into them! Make sure they are balanced along with the hub.
I haven't gotten a set for the Solo yet, but I am considering them. I suspect that the reason they give a lot of throttle response is because
they do not flex as much as the plastic props. I used the DJI 9450 carbon fiber props which were larger ins size versus the stock X380
props which were cheap plastic. The props were self-tightening and the prop caps had to be resized to fit on the motors. The same props
will not fit on a 3dr Solo so you will have to get a DJI, 3dr Solo balancing threaded shaft plus a Dubro prop balancer which can balance both
types of props. It's always a good idea to make sure your props are balanced.
