OpenSolo 4.0.0 - RC7 does not respond/change with long/short press of the Pause button

The Controllers haptic feedback confirms the input, but monitoring RC_CHANNELS.chan7 shows no change.

What could be a possible reason for this ?

Please note that I am NOT asking for servo connection.
The intention is to toggle precision landing by RC7_OPTION=39

Have setup CH7 on Solo gear several times.
It does work, but it depends on what GCS your using
