I sure would like to fly my solo 3DR but I can not. I used it a lot in 2018. the software needs an update. can anyone direct me to the best solution? I enjoyed using my solo. and I have a lot of extra blades and batteries. Please help if you know how to make her work again. Thanks

There are several ways to upgrade your Solo and Controller to Open Solo 4.

Here are the instructions for updating the firmware. If the controller is not asking for Preflight Update then you don't need to update the firmware to fly. Just re-read the manual to brush up on it, then fly.

For an app you'll need either Solex or SidePilot.
